●ジャズ・ピアノの詩人ビル・エヴァンスの晩年を代表する名盤『アイ・ウィル・セイ・グッドバイ』『ユー・マスト・ビリーヴ・イン・スプリング』と同じ、エディ・ゴメス(b)～エリオット・ジグムンド(ds)とのトリオによるバンクーバーにあった伝説のクラブ、オイル・キャン・ハリーズでの1975年6月20日のライヴ音源が45年の時を経てついにリリース。
当時の雰囲気が感じられる臨場感あふれるサウンドで蘇る。
●当時カナダのCHQMでラジオ番組のホストをしていたゲイリー・バークレイのために録音され、彼の人気ジャズ番組CHQMで放送されたもの。このテープは半世紀近くもの間、忘れ去られていたが、バークレイが自宅に持ち帰ったオイル・キャン・ハリーズでのエヴァンスの演奏を録音したテープが――ライヴ収録の先駆者的存在のエンジニア、レイス・ハメルによる、驚くほど高音質で存在感のある音源―バークレイの後所有者が2回代わった末に、ついに陽の目を浴びる！
